I have reason to believe this is why people can't download certain courses, this was updated 3 days ago by Udemy.

"Out of concerns for piracy, by default, courses are not available for download on a computer. If instructors wish, however, they can enable the downloading feature, so lectures can be downloaded for offline viewing on a computer. "

they added DRM to newer videos afaik

I think this is the end of the software (udeler) .... very frustated.... mostly, for me, need to watch the video offline.

I ended up just downloading Bluestack Android Emulator and downloaded a bunch of my courses there. While It's not Udeler like at least it saves data.

I think this is the end of the software (udeler) .... very frustated.... mostly, for me, need to watch the video offline.

I ended up just downloading Bluestack Android Emulator and downloaded a bunch of my courses there. While It's not Udeler like at least it saves data.

And can you download it locally to the computer?

You can, but only viewable on the udemy mobile app. You you can't really copy the videos or anything like that.
