Can login but can't find anything

I can login using the app but whateverI search for it shows zero results. I didn't install the extension because I wasn't able to. Enabled dev tools on chrome but stills bugs me about some crx permissions. So i tried with the one provided within the instructions but the manifest file is missing. I registered on udemy, added some video to my cart or favourite, is there anything else I should do ?

I am also not installing any extension. The app is working fine. Just reinstall and clear any previous files on your system. I am running Ubuntu and this app is working every time. Just today I faced build course problem but after I restart the app it solved the issue. Also check if you have stable internet connection.
