Perfomance degraded over 100 times with AMD card after updates

Describe the bug
I haven't played s&box for like more than 4 months and today I wanted to see what changed, downloaded latest update on steam and upon entering it started to extremely lag (it never did, at least in the menu). RIght now in the menu - I get 1-10 fps at most. Game was working somewhat fine before.
It could be the excessive blur that melts my gpu, but its just a hypothesis. or just lack of proper AMD cards support?
The performance over time also seems like it degraded. Changing graphics from high to low helps a little (about 5-15 more fps overall).
To Reproduce
- Get my hardware
- Install latest update
- Enjoy
Expected behavior
At least getting way way more fps.

Additional context
Hardware setup:
- RX 6500xt AMD GPU
- 16gb of RAM
- Win11 64bit
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz (3.70 GH
- Put everything on high
- 1920x1080

Half the team develops on AMD cards.
Does adjusting the graphics settings make any difference? Do any in particular have more effect then others?
It does slightly help, but gives me about 5-10 more fps
My drivers are latest: 25.10.2
none of the "non-default" features are enabled in the AMD app:
I'm assuming something could be drastically very wrong with my client? Like something got corrupted since I haven't updated in a while maybe?
How does each of these convars effect it
- r_ssr_downsample_ratio 0
- r_postprocess 0
- r_enable_volume_fog 0
Let me do this step by step: First of all, testing in the menu only for now.
- r_ssr_downsample_ratio 0 -0 difference
- r_postprocess 0 -extra 1 fps
- r_enable_volume_fog 0 extra 15 fps
Going back to flatgrass with sandbox mode: -getting about 20 fps looking somewhere, and 56fps looking at the sky
Changing settings from high to low: -27 fps normally, 59 fps looking at the sky
This is a normal fps and it has always been like this. To get 40-30 fps in the main menu on the gtx 1060 (almost identical to 6500xt ), I set all the settings to minimum, and most importantly, set the filtering to minimum and turn off vsync and then it will be approximately 30-40 fps if character on scene dont have clothes, and 20 fps when opening the game search menu. The performance issue is already known, and I think it will be fixed in the future. With these specs, you can develop games in the editor without any problems.
No it used to be much much higher on such easy maps. Like it was comfortable. But overtime the performance just regressed heavily

other than that, all other source 2 games are fine, so there is a clear issue with perfomance here.
It looks like a shortage of vram
Tbh I think S&box has performance issues overall (regardless of the config you have)
I mean I have an RTX 3090, and even with such a card S&box consume WAYYY too much performance vs the visual fidelity. There are games from ~2015 running miles better than S&box and looking infinitely better than S&box.
I mean the artstyle/optimisation/textures are something to consider depending on the game you play for sure, but the post processings on S&box consume too much performance imo. The SSR for example is literally destroying FPS while it doesn't look that good, when you compare it to the SSR from a game like Detroit become Human for example !
That's why in my game I stopped using most of the post processing (SSAO, SSR, etc...) bcs they don't provide much more visual quality for such a HUGE impact on performance. Almost -50fps on my 3090 just with SSR/SSAO enabled, so instead of playing at 144fps, I go around 95fps lol
EDIT: I hope there will be a huge focus on performance when S&box is gonna be close to release ! One of my friend can literally play GTA 5 on his PC at around 50-60 fps (he doesn't have a good PC) but he goes around 22fps on S&box. And we can all agree that GTA 5 is still a MASSIVE game and has a relatively good graphics quality even to this day.
