From bbe-faq channel in BBE Discord:
Traben’s [EMF] Entity Model Features / [ETF] Entity Texture Features mods are currently incompatible (fully enabled) with BBE, If you want these to work alongside BBE, you will have to turn off optimizations for the block entity you want EMF/ETF to modify through our config screen. The same goes for resource packs that modify any of the enabled block entities. Just to make things even clearer, we already "fixed" this issue on our side, we now need an API from Traben's side so we can disable certain EMF/ETF features that can break our mod, this has to be done in favor of BBE, since it makes no sense to disable a performance mod by default.

as stated here, we already did everything that we could do so BBE and EMF/ETF don't explode, for now the user has to disable features from either side so they can work tegether. Yes incompatibilities are expected since BBE is just a few months old, and is lacking some EBE features like being able to use 3D chests and still have the performance gains. Now everything else should be great for normal vanilla use cases
