24.10 SVG is broken
There are no normal asset files like with previous releases. The clickable SVG in the release text is broken, rendering like this:
Hi, sorry I completely missed this, which program are you using for opening the SVG?
Firefox, Chromium, literally anything.
I use Firefox and Chromium too, tested both now with the local file the preview from https://github.com/FabioLolix/LinuxTimeline/releases/tag/v24.10 loads fine
I have checked also on https://validator.w3.org/check and it give only a warning
Warning Line 3121, Column 81: This validator does not validate Inkscape extensions properly. Inkscape-specific errors may go unnoticed.
… inkscape:label='Background' inkscape:groupmode='layer' id='layer_background'

Huh, I hope you actually looked at the SVG, since the PNG is fine for me too. The validator is pretty much useless for checking whether an SVG renders fine, it just tells you whether it’s syntactically okay.
Huh, I hope you actually looked at the SVG
I looked at the SVG
And my Inkscape is not happy...
Can you send me your SVG?
Its b2sum is dc49412bdd647b1d1de791af6bd0650d2aa35ab74bab264a8c4a30def8fd7ce7630be79c788d9b4d88f8fa1bb668245c9290a0a11e1ed55f8ffa97dfa74cd2bd ?
The SVG is broken for me too if I open it in a new tab in Firefox. Looks same as above.
Otherwise, it's viewable.
Hey, which Firefox versione on which OS? What Is the b2sum of the file?
@FabioLolix Windows 11, Firefox 140.0. The issue occurs when I right-click on the SVG on the releases page and open in a new tab/window.
Perhaps the svg requires an enclosing element or something? Viewbox/dimension issue maybe?

The file works properly when downloaded.
The issue occurs when I right-click on the SVG on the releases page and open in a new tab/window.
I was able to reproduce this, yet opening https://github.com/FabioLolix/LinuxTimeline/releases/tag/v24.10 works, downloaded file works, I know nothing about SVG or XML but my guess is that https://private-user-images.githubusercontent.com mess with it
