WiFi resets regularly, need to identify root cause and fix
With our current default installs, the wifi resets periodically breaking connections to fabmo. Need to determine if it is something underlying in our raspbian config or if it is some manipulation we are doing from fabmo. (May need to provide a script for building the raspbian image we are using if that's where the fault lies.)
Sometimes when I work from home, my IP address changes multiple times before it finally settles on one. This gives me a discouraging UX. Not sure how to remedy it, but it has happened at least 3 times now. Connecting through my home network with pi plugged in through ethernet.
This bug says "reproduce" because it's not clear it's still happening. If someone can identify that it is and how to reproduce it, document it here and we'll address it.
I've been seeing something like this with the wifi network (which I know is unsupported) - It sure looks like fabmo's hostapd network configuration is getting into a disagreement with the PiOS' wpa_suppplicant based network configuration.
Yes, th is is going to need more attn.
