Hi @NBJTL, thanks for using my tool! Could you provide more info on what is going wrong? The tool should show up in the interface for a single website, not on server-level. Can you find the tool in the "Remove program"-list of Windows? What version of Windows Server and IIS are you using?

Hi thanks for responding. I have a mixture of server 2008R2 with IIS 7.5 and server 2012 with IIS 8.0 one 2012 server I installed it on worked fine after installed the tool I went to the website in IIS and could see the other section with the HSTS tool. but all the other servers I've tried the tool appears to install ok I can see it in add remove programs but when I open iis and go to a website I don't see the other section. is there any IIS feature that needs to be installed to make it work?

Hmm.. I thought this tool only worked on IIS8+, but this is indeed not stated anywhere specifically. Well, then there's your answer: it only works on IIS8+. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a W2008R2 machine to test this further. If you find a way to make it work, please notify me and make a PR or something! That'd be great!

Could you update the Readme with this info? It currently lists 7.0 as a prereq and I struggled with it for a while before finding this issue.

Also, Installation.md needs to be updated - The individual files aren't on the linked downloads page. The installer installed the module dll with spaces in the name and no manager.dll (at least not when I tried on a 2008R2 server), which might explain why it doesn't show?.

If it would help, I can set up a 2008R2 VM with remote access for you to play with?

Good that you mention it, I'll make sure that for the next release, these files are included and the documentation is updated.

After your comment I've investigated further and it seems that there used to be support for IIS7 but the relevant code has been commented out. If you're able to provide a VM for me to do some development on, I might be able to make it work :)

Sorry for the delay, @FWest98 ... I forgot to drop back. what do you want on the VM?

I think a VM with 2008R2, IIS7.5 and remote access should be sufficient. You can contact me on the email address in my profile to discuss the details!
