Describe the bug
Every time I open my inventory the FPS drops from well over 100 all the way down to 30, to where my mouse feels sluggish when I do crafting stuff. I had the same issue in FTB Evolution, if that helps. I have looked through the Graphics settings and cant find anything that would cause this. It also doesnt matter if JEI is enabled or not. When I started playing the pack it was fine. I dont expect this to get fixed since I cant even tell you why/how/when this happens, just thought Id inform the masses :P
Steps to reproduce
I literally have no idea.
Expected behaviour
I expect the FPS to not drop?

Additional information
I tried the pack on the Prism launcher and CurseForge and the issue still persists. Didnt expect it to go away but at least I tested.
are you using ae2 and the deep disks?
Yes I am but the issue was there before I made the switch. I can switch back and test if that solves it however.
OK So I emptied all my drives into regular 16k drives, it did actually improve the FPS when I have my inventory open. Thats so weird.
That's the problem.
Deep disks can corrupt your world and they are just bad with lots of items.
These are good early game but thats it.
Also, if u have lots of nbt items, nonstackable (for example relics, armors etc) that will also cause problems.
I'm AE2 addict and I tested this on atm9 cuz i had the same problem even with regular disks 63 type.
Seems like you are running into the limits of what mods can handle. Sadly, there is nothing we can really do to resolve this issue.
Thats not a very inspiring response from the FTB team. If this mod is this broken it should NOT be in the pack, what the point of having a mod that can only be used early game with the potential of permanently breaking your world?
Ahh, I think I missed reading the issue a bit. So this is only happing when you have items in the deep disks?
The severity seems to have decreased when I emptied all my stuff into regular disks but I cant confirm for sure since FPS is a bit iffy in general in MC. But I have the same issue in FTB Evolution and in that pack I have never used the deep disks.
Brother, I told u already... When you have thousands of NBT items (NBT items are items like armors, swords, tools, different other items from mods that don't stack).
When I played ATM 9, our team had tens of thousands of NBT items in our main system and was hella laggy so we tried to move the NBT stuff in another system to get rid of the lag. That solved the problem.
We were using the normal disks 63 types and the bulk ones.
Trust me, I'm an AE2 techy and I did my research.
Hey Genius, I have none of that in my AE system, trust me Im a AE2 techy. I know all about NBT data and what it can do to digital storage.
