Can't craft copper or iron chest from "Sophisticated Storage" mod

Describe the bug

1. I can't see the recipes of the chests when I click the acacia one in the EMI.
2. After looking through the kube.js scripts I noticed that I need use plates. Using plates in any order doesn't craft anything.
3. I can craft the basic chest with redstone torch but, I can't upgrade it.

Steps to reproduce

1. Craft basic "Sophisticated Storage" chest (1 Chest + 1 Redstone Torch).

2. Try to upgrade it by surrounding it with copper or iron plates.

3. Recipe doesn't give any output

4. Click placeholder "Acacia Chest" recipe from "Sophisticated Storage".

5. It doesn't show the recipe

Expected behaviour

1. Being able to craft copper or iron tier chest.

I'm leaving a temp. solution for everyone else having problems. Upgrade's from "Sophisticated Storage" still craftable and works.

Is the recipe you want to use present in recipes_removal.json? If so, you can remove the entry for that recipe from that file on your server and the recipe will become available to you. Also, if it's there, it probably means they intend you not to be able to craft it (though it's not like it's a balance issue or anything, so I don't really understand the reasoning if that's the case).

You should Craft the Upgrades instead yes, Just added a Tooltip to better explain this :)
