Launching public binder on master branch fails

The public binder, as documented in the README, fails to build the environment:

line 813: /build/env-vars: No such file or directory
variable $src or $srcs should point to the source

Not tested, but I think https://github.com/jupyterhub/repo2docker/pull/990 fixes it.
