PIMV6 - Not able to delete RP

Configure IPV6 PIM RP .

frr(config)# ipv6 pim rp 1080::2

Execute show running config, RP is configured successfully.

frr(config)# do show running-config 
Building configuration...

Current configuration:

frr defaults traditional
hostname frr
no ip forwarding
no ipv6 forwarding
ipv6 pim rp 1080::2 ff00::/8 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Delete RP

frr(config)# no ipv6 pim rp 1080::2 ff00::/8
% Unable to find specified RP

Issue: Not able to find the specified RP

Removing the pimv6 tag since it is a common issue.

Adding PIMV6 level, since the issue is PIMV6 specific.

Issue 1:

Issue 2: frr(config)# ipv6 pim rp 1080::2

frr(config)# no ipv6 pim rp 1080::2 ff00::/8 % Unable to find specified RP

frr(config)# no ipv6 pim rp 1080::2 FF00::/8 % Unable to find specified RP

frr(config)# no ipv6 pim rp 1080::2 >>>>>> Deleted successfully
