how do i set it up?

I am aware the my - well, single file "documentation" isn't the best, but it's all in there. GIve it a try <3

TL;DR:

Easiest way is to just download the repository and copy the two files "charset.py" and "launchpad.py" from the "launchpad_py" directory to wherever you want and then just work in this dir.

Slightly older builds are available from PyPI, you can install them with the command line tool "pip".
That's also in the doc :)
