hbl2hbc.txt is not read

No matter what release version I use or what I type in that configuration txt, it always takes me to the HBC and not UNEO which I desire. I have searched the internet up and down and have troubleshooted for days. I just want to go from my Wii U start screen to USBLOADER without having to pick up a Wiimote.

I know this is very old but for anyone that, like me is still searching for the answer: I looked into the code and the actual path where you have to put the hbl2hbc.txt is "sd:/hbl2hbc.txt" (which means you have to put it in the directory of your sd card, not the directory of the app).

EDIT: I might fork it to "fix" this "issue" if I can get it to work.

Thank you so much for the reply. I'm not a forum nazi and I think that old threads should be replied to. I greatly, greatly appreciate it. It's been on my immediate to do list to dust off my Wii U and play some new games / homebrew. Thank you again.

@sumbodyshero this doesn't work for me, it goes into vWii mode, then to a black screen, then resets back to Wii U mode. I've got the homebrew channel installed as a channel on vwii and it's working fine, is there anything else that has to be done? I've put hbl2hbc.txt in SD root and hbl2hbc.elf in sd:/wiiu/apps/ does the elf need a folder created?

There's two Homebrew Channels. LULZ and OHBC (open homebrew channel) in my case I have ohbc so I had to set it to that in the hbl2hbc.txt

@kyoforkshomebrews thanks, i'm also getting a similar problem when i launch usb loader gx and snes9x gx channel forwarders from wii u, it comes up with an error and won't launch, but they run fine from vwii mode, any idea what to do? is it possible to have multiple hbl2hbc.elfs / .txts and rename them and have them pointing to different wii apps?

Not sure about the error, what kind of error is it? DSI Exception or just some error code? You can just put multiple things in the .txt, no need to have multiple (each entry separated by a new line), then it'll give you a menu to choose what to launch. Make sure to put the right channel IDs.
