Turok Evolution (NTSC-U) laggy in the menu and cut scenes are skipped after ~30sek

over 1 year ago i tested turok evolution (ntsc-u) with in that time latest version of nintendont. in the menu the game was laggy and when the games start the first cut scene already stopped after ~30sek. the game itself plays fine. later on the other cutsenes also were skipped after ~30sek. the pal version of the game plays fine. no laggy in the menu, the cut scenes plays fines. few days ago with the latest nintendont version i tested it again, and the problem still exists. will be there a fix for the ntsc-u version? because allover the ntsc version of the game is way better then the pal version.

i have tested it today with dios mios. with dios mios it works without problems. so there must be something wrong in nintendont.

nintendont and dios mios are widely diferent, its like saying you played the game on the gc and then it had one issue in nintendont.

dios mios runs in gc mode with almost all gc assets.

nintendont runs in wii mode with wii assets changed to match gc ones and some even emulated like sound and such.

i know that. but it is weird. i have nearly 250 gamecube games. mostly ntsc-u and some pal. turok evolution is the only game with that kind of problem. like i said, only the ntsc-u version has the problem. pal uk is running fine. when the pal version is running fine and ntsc-u not, i think it can be fixed in the future. or not?

probably, the thing is fix94 the last developer stopped working on nintendont some time ago so i have no idea if it will ever be fixed.

It's a known bug, take a look at http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Nintendont_Compatibility_List Fix94 takes his time, he usually take some months of hiatus and come back with some commits. Otherwise this project is so complex I doubt some brave soul would fork it lol.

I know that Link. I saw it the first time 1-2 years ago. When i tried it that time, i thought it will be fixed one day. 2 weeks ago when i tried it again after that long time, the error was still there. Thats why i posted it here. Perhaps fix94 will See it now and fix it one day if its fixable.

i attempted to fix it but i couldnt, i lack the skill to do so, i know why it happens but i dont know how to fix the game, basically turok only works because there is an hack to invalidate data after a certain time or else the game crashes on loading screen so that invalidate data is deleting/skipping cut-scenes, since fix94 left there isnt anyone with deep knowledge to look into this sadly.
