FreeDOS installer starts FDISK with blinking cursor disabled

The blinking cursor is not shown in FDISK interactive user interface if launched from the FreeDOS installer. As a workaround, cursor settings should be stored / restored on FDISK start / termination, and the blinking cursor should be activated (via INT10,01?).
