Identifier Mapping Services
Stub recipe exists at https://github.com/FAIRplus/the-fair-cookbook/blob/identifiers/docs/content/recipes/findability/identifier-services/identifier-mapping.md
This recipe should cover the use of BridgeDb either through its public endpoint or by a local installation.
Draft text by @Chris-Evelo can be found in this FAIRplus document https://docs.google.com/document/d/1f-uteIcv-582PLVmzux-dBc5cY-Vn4GnZhVovjCmx4o/edit?pli=1
Could the draft text be integrated in the existing stub, to get a more complete recipe? Could this be done before the next F2F (16-18th of November) @Chris-Evelo @AlasdairGray ?
Hopefully we can manage something by the next F2F.
First draft of the identifier mapping recipe is now available https://github.com/FAIRplus/the-fair-cookbook/blob/id-map-services/docs/content/recipes/interoperability/identifier-mapping.md
Note that there is overlap between this issue and #126
I will be taking over for @Chris-Evelo here. Looking at issue #135 and #126
@AlasdairGray should I incorporate the BridgeDB aspects to your identifier mapping recipe as suggested by @JolandaS or create a new recipe exclusively for it? Taking into account that #135 led to its own recipe maybe this should grant its own too.
I'll work on this at branch bridgedb
and assign myself to this issue
@mavrokefalidis I would create a separate recipe specifically covering the usage of BridgeDb. We have now decided that it is best practice to create each recipe on its own branch.
You may now find a first draft of the recipe here still waiting for review
I believe that this issue will be closed when PR #156 is incorporated into the dev branch.
