Most probably Steam issue. just restart the application, then wait for some time.

I had this problem, two things kept it from working: 1) Peerblock/Firewall was aggressively restricting access, needed to give permissions, 2) Run HourBoostr as admin.

Sometimes you might have to clear the login key in the settings. At least, that did it for me.
