MercuryTrade FPS drops when running

My fps drops from 120 to 40, making the game look like shit.

I recently reformatted onto a SSD and I didn't have this problem previously.

Out of curiosity, do you have a chrome tab with a 'poe build' open in the background? I get the same issues when a chrome tab is open with a build in it - fps on alt tabbing etc starts spiking up and down from 20/40 to 200 fps.

I had nothing open, I'm playing in borderless windowed mode, and anytime anything is displayed over the game the FPS takes a dump.

I've experienced this issue as well, and I think it has to do with the overlay being tied (somehow) to a different max FPS. (Maybe Windows' FPS?)

I actually fixed it by moving all the overlay elements (menu, trade request list, etc) off the game window and onto my second monitor. Doing so instantly popped my FPS back up from 60 to 140ish.

I unfortunately do not use a second monitor, but I did notice the issue also happens when a steam friend comes online, which seems to indicate any overlay fucks it up. idk

I had a similar problem. I decided to do it this way: initially, my Windows 7 was personalized in a simplified mode, but putting Aero FPS drops were removed
