Description of your suggestion.
String and wool can be incredibly hard to find. In my particular world, spiders for some reason do not give string, and I'm in a biome with no sheep for many days journey. And, unfortunately, due to no access wool/string availability, I am now trapped to one day's journey of distance because phantoms now spawn every night. In short, I think that the addition of flax would be really useful. Harvesting it could give string.
Sounds like you should just start a new world. Sheep are really easy to find, especially with an ocean and boat
True, probably should. So, is that a no on the flax idea? Still seems like a cool gameplay plant to have even if I start a new world lol
The decision is up to Thonk and Rainbow, but personally I think there is no need to add this simply for another String source. String can be gotten from spiders, mineshafts, jungle temples and fished, so...
flax is planned actually, it's in my doc but I don't know when it'll be added
