- You should be kicked.

if you have WindowItems listener downstream packetrecive and you try to read cursoritem and I assume anything item from that packet it will "delete" your inventory with 1.20.5-6 and for 1.21+ any banner pattern get's "deleted" if you put the banner to a different slot in your inventory
I have the same problem, when riding a boat it bounces off, or when using ecoenchanct's special enchantment book it bounces off as well. I'm using Velocity 3.4.0-SNAPSHOT (git-08a42b37-b449) and Paper version 1.21.1-131-ver/1.21.1@84281ce.
