Sampling derived fields

Is there a way to use the sampling utilities to sample derived quantities such as vorticity and q_criterion? @mbkuhn and I looked at the code but could not find a way to do this with the current infrastructure.

When specifying the derived quantities in the sampling fields input, a warning is printed.

Hi @marchdf , sure. Here is an example using this test. I just added "vorticity" as a sampling field.
