Neofetch Interferes with Codeium Functionality in Neovim

I'm experiencing an issue where Codeium doesn't work in Neovim. The problem occurs only when Neofetch is enabled in my shell config. It seems that Neofetch's ASCII output interferes with Neovim's startup, causing Codeium to malfunction. Disabling Neofetch resolves the issue. Could you help identify why this is happening and suggest a solution?

The fact that i am using codeium.vim over codeium.nvim because of their completion style.
