Game keeps the default settings
I tried in many ways to change the settings from the configuration file but they don't take effect. I'm using NFSC:CE v1.4 (Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit)
Btw is it possible to apply texture vinyls on cars other than the ones that own one (i.e BMW, Corola, Camaro Concept etc) because the enemy racers can use them on normal cars Texture vinyls, like in MW are vinyls that u can't edit and have their own portion of the code that can vary in size. Using a hex editing program i was able to swap BMW's vinyl with the one I always wanted to find in the whole game but i couldn't Here are some pictures i took to see what I'm talking about: http://i.imgur.com/uLxGFei.png http://i.imgur.com/LBRxdGI.png http://i.imgur.com/sTgIu0F.png I was wandering if u can help me with this, and if u actually know how to do this, maybe u can put it in the next update.
Cheers!

Try to run the game as administator or take ownership of your game installation folder.

Yes. AFAIK, all texture liveries are also available as vinyls. NFSC ExOpts can show and unlock them in Vinyl Menu. (Not all, maybe something else is blocking them to appear.) If the vinyl doesn't appear in menu, you can also try to use Debug Car Customize screen. (Only if you know what are you doing.)
I tried everything but it didn't work to save the settings.
Maybe adding video settings to the ExOpts can solve the problem.
If I try to run the game with the settings.ini enabled in ws patch, it just simply won't launch
This could help:

@DiamondMaster07, your issue isn't with Extra Options, you need to open that issue into WS Fixes Pack repo. And I think running the game as admin, taking ownership or moving the game into any other folder will solve the problem. My game is on my 2nd drive and it works perfectly fine.
I tried EVERYTHING and nothing worked
I found out what causes the game to launch on low/default settings: Running the game as an administrator
Widescreen patch's settings.ini file can fix that but I heard from a lot of people reporting this crashes the game/causing it to don't even launch(I had that problem before)
So the solution is: Don't run the game as an admin
Before you ask: I tested it multiple times both on my bro's laptop and my desktop PC
