PDF files are renamed to .txt when sent through n8n

Open Buglessren opened this issue 1 month ago • 1 comments

Welcome!

  • [x] Yes, I have searched for similar issues on GitHub and found none.

What did you do?

I attempted to send a PDF file through n8n using the send document action. I tested different workflows, media types, and file paths, but the behavior was consistent.

What did you expect?

I expected the PDF to be sent and received with its original .pdf extension, without being renamed or modified.

What did you observe instead of what you expected?

Instead, the PDF was delivered with a .txt extension, so the received file could not be opened or recognized as a PDF.

Mesmo problema aqui, única forma que encontrei de resolver foi fazer uma integração com o N8N através de webhook para enviar o PDF.
