Video Thumbnail Not Displayed in the Recipient's WhatsApp When Auto-Download Is Disabled
Welcome!
- [x] Yes, I have searched for similar issues on GitHub and found none.
What did you do?
When the recipient's WhatsApp auto-download is disabled and a video message is sent via the /message/sendMedia/{instance} endpoint, the message is delivered successfully. However, a blurred thumbnail of the same video is not visible on the recipient's device unless the video is downloaded (screenshot attached in the Screenshots/Videos section).

}
Note: To test it properly, please disable the auto-download option on your device.
What did you expect?
A blurred thumbnail should be displayed if the video is not downloaded. See the screenshot "Message received via mobile app" in Screenshots/Videos section.
What did you observe instead of what you expected?
We observed that when sending a video through the mobile app, the blurred thumbnail is displayed when video at recipient is not downloaded. However, when using this library to send the same video, we noticed that the white background is shown instead of the blurred thumbnail. Screenshots for the both can be found in next section.
