POV mods don't work in VR

With TogglePOV and ShortcutPlugin pressing the key to toggle the point of view ends up changing lighting in weird ways and/or gaze control. I haven't seen this addressed anywhere else - should it work like this?

Running without VR on the desktop they appear to work fine.

All VR mods come with their own PoV solutions. Use those.
