Black screen(s) after sleep

Open anastasiuspernat opened this issue 9 years ago • 3 comments

Hello again! The fix was great everything started working. But now I have another problem. When I'm using DisableMonitor and switch off the projector, then explicitly put the MacBook Pro to sleep (while keeping the lid open) and then wake it up - both screens go black. And then it usually needs a hard reset to make it work again.

I have my Mac locked with a password and I cannot enter a password or do anything - everything is black.

I don't have the same problem with SwitchResX.

Have you tried it with Version 1.7?

Yes, unfortunately it's the same thing. I updated to Yosemite and it didn't help either. On Yosemite it's a little bit better though. To get back to the normal screen you need to blind-enter your password and then disconnect the HDMI cable
