I have a similar bug. When I open Tabby, for example, I still have the password field at the top as a shadow. In general, from update .204 to .207 some things are "duplicated" or no longer fit the view.

I was getting the similar issue, disabling the GPU acceleration has resolved this for me. Settings->window->Hacks->disable GPU acceleration.

I may figure out what's the problem is. If you turn "Acrylic background" on in window settings, then there is text shadow. When turn "Acrylic background" off, the shadow go away even "Disable GPU acceleration" is off.

or you can keep the "acrylic background" on and keep Disable GPU acceleration and "disable fluent background while dragging" on. It works for me.

Seems like my problem is different, I could not correct it with the mentioned solutions. I still have duplicate displays and other duplicates

In my case disabling the GPU acceleration worked. Thanks!

+1 Having this issue, disabling GPU acceleration fixed it. I'd rather not have to though, my work laptop's cpu is taxed enough as it is.
