Background color behind terminals in a tiled terminal view should be slightly darker than the background color of the terminals

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. It's kind of an eyesore having the background color behind the terminals in a split / tiled view be the exact same as the terminal window backgrounds. There isn't enough visual distinction between each tiled terminal window. If the background color behind the terminals was slightly darker than the background color of the terminals themselves it would create a better visual separator for the tiled terminals and be more visually appealing, not to mention easier on the eyes.

Describe the solution you'd like Make it so that the background color behind tiled terminals is a slightly darker version of the background color of the terminals in the tiled view to create a better visual separation between them.

It might be worthwhile making this a configurable color option in themes.
