There is No transparency & Blur in Ubuntu
There is No transparency & Blur in Ubuntu
I've been having this issue too. A workaround I try is opening Tabby, then opening a new window by right clicking the icon in the taskbar/dock. (But it doesn't fix it permanently, so that's annoying)

I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 and Tabby 1.0.183. I enabled Window > Acrylic background
, but it doesn't make the window blurred. Only transparency was added to the window. How to enable blur? Do I need some lib on Linux? Maybe it should be an option too, Transparency and Blur separated settings if possible.
Hi, I'm on Fedora 36; no transparency (although the blur option works). Any ideas for getting transparency working?
KDE Plasma is my DE.
I've tried adding the following as custom CSS, but unfortunately it does not work, even after restarting Tabby:
body { background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.75) !important; }
Up same in archlinux gnome 42
