Series of same character, like "*" or "-" are truncated
When rendering a long serie of the same character, the row is truncated. For example :
$ python print(80*"-")
The output is truncated, only 55 (or so) dashes are displayed.

@jplozf Can you describe on which system you are using Tabby? On Arch Linux, I didn't get this bug.

@jplozf Please paste a screenshot of your Appearance settings. Are you using some custom themes or fonts?
oops, sorry you're right : i was using cascadia font with ligatures enabled => after disabling the ligatures, the output is correct. it seems to be an issue with cascadia font, since i use now consolas font with ligatures enabled, and the output is still correct.
