@EvanCPSC May I ask if this feature still is still active? I'm interested in a workshop page and wanted to check in on its status.

Thank you for providing these links Ethan! I will study them before the first meeting.
We discussed this issue last year and we planned a few things so I will leave them here for reference. In order to complete this page, it would rely on the shorter bot where team leads create links every week for their workshop. We can just add every link that's made automatically but the issue is the page would be full of links. In order to improve how it looks, we were thinking of adding another variable in shorter called 'Workshop Name'. This way, whenever a lead creates a link using shorter, they can input the workshop name and then the link would be embedded on /workshops. Please take this into consideration as you create this page.

Hey I was wondering if there was like a thread or channel to talk about the main website on?
Since I am not sure where to post for now, I will post on this thread. I am thinking about going through the older links in links.json(src/lib/public/links/links.json) and adding a team prefix and semester suffix based off the more recent links like for example: line 37: "ai/project/1" -> "ai/project/1-fa22" line 65: "ts-workshop" -> "oss/ts-workshop-sp23"
I think this would be a good idea for being able to sort workshops by prefix and suffix. I want to know if this is a good idea or if there is something I am not seeing.
There is a website thread in the server so I will tag you in it. As for the prefix, I've actually brought this up before and told team leads about it. Since last spring, I told team leads to start adding their team name before the link, so that we can easily categorize them like anything that starts with oss/ would go in the oss table. I will ask dianella to bring this up for the new team leads to keep doing. As for you manually going through the links and editing them, I don't think it would be needed because this page includes only links from the current semester. At least that's how we wanted to do it just because there's repeats of workshops so we don't want the page to be too long with old links. If you scroll down to the bottom of the shorter page in acmcsuf.com, you will see the prefixes of team names!
