Month view left/right swipe acting odd

I have etar v1.0.45 and in month view swiping left/right behaves a bit weird. While swiping to the left (or right) the whole month view may move up or down a bit if your swipe is not perfectly horizontal. Then when it switches to the next (previous) month the animation moves the calendar up (or down) instead of the expected left (or right) which is rather disconcerting.

Could the animation moving to the next/prev month go move left/right when triggered by swiping left/right?

Might be worth have a setting for enabling month view up/down swipe, left/right swipes, or both for those that may only want one or the other.
