Editing the Dynamic Table in a versioned environment - document editing options

It is impossible to edit a non versioned table in a versioned environment unless the user goes to the editing options --> versioning tab --> unchecks the first checkbox (undo / redo). Perhaps it is recommended to edit it in a different MXD?

It would be great if this could be added to the documentation
