18-003-MC MCC as a Sector Modifier

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: Movement control center (MCC) was identified as one of several obsolete land units sector 1 modifiers that was removed from MIL-STD-2525D Change 1. The Marine Corps still requires the symbol for movement control center (MCC).

PROPOSED SOLUTION: Reinstate the movement control center (MCC) as a land unit sector 1 modifier in MIL-STD-2525D Change 1, Appendix A, Table A-XXII, page 74; Appendix D, Table D-V. page 231; and the Index, page 827.

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION: If the movement control center cannot be reinstated as a land unit sector 1 modifier, recommend that it is inserted as a land unit sector 2 modifier in Appendix A, Table A-XXIII, page 77; Table D-VI, page 249-250; and Index, page 828.
