Integration with npm for custom build

Would it be possible for you to explain how to integrate one of your samples like the following - (https://github.com/Esri/calcite-maps/blob/master/samples/arcgis-4.x/arcgis-4.x-example.html) with the custom jsapi npm build steps listed at: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/guide/using-npm/index.html

I am specifically trying to understand how to incorporate the bootstrap and calcite maps packages as listed below and in your samples in dojoConfig section into the dojoConfig listed with the npm demo repo.
