Add an option to change the direction of Zoom Drag for stylus users

Open misaki-eymard opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Currently, using Zoom Drag (default hotkey is U) to adjust zoom by dragging requires vertical dragging, which is a bit uncomfortable for users who are familiar with Photoshop, since in Photoshop it is done by horizontal dragging. An option to change the drag direction from vertical to horizontal would be useful, especially for stylus users.

Just to add to the importance of this request; it's not only confusing for Photoshop or alike users, but also people using 3d software like blender, where it is also the other way. So it looks like the consensus of other software is the direct opposite direction as spine is using for zoom, so I would opt to either invert the behaviour or add an option and set the default to what these other software's are doing (so the inverse of what it is now) for new users.

100% agree! As a generalist artist who uses Blender, Adobe Suite, and Spine all at the same time, I can seamlessly transition between all the apps on my computer except Spine which is such a pain due to the opposite drag direction. I really wish they add an option to invert it soon :(
