The repository has two tags, kryo-2.22 and 2.02, that are pointing to a missing commit id. GitHub says:

This commit does not belong to any branch on this repository, and may belong to a fork outside of the repository.

Maybe the Git history was rewritten at some point and the tags weren't updated?

That's possible. I only took over Kryo maintenance in 2020 so I have no idea what happened in 2012. Do you need these tags for any reason?

I just noticed it when reviewing the Kryo 2.x changes. I don't need these tags but I thought it was still worth reporting.

The closest commit to the 2.22 release seems to be 01692de71511ef47b105dc811532914af28d7be2, it was authored on Sep 30, 2013 but the tag was created on Nov 6, 2013, there a one month gap. There is also a 2.22 branch but it stops on Mar 22, 2013. Maybe the tag was pushed but not the branch. If @NathanSweet is still around maybe he still has the branch in his working copy?
