v4.0.0 branch doesn't work

Hi dev, I've just set up the 3.9 version which works fine. When I set up a Calendar or Contact, with the good settings, it takes 1s to accept my settings and start synching. Then, I saw that this version is not maintained anymore, so update to v4.0.0 beta5 ... and nothing worked. I created my exchange calendar from scratch but when I clicked on "fetch" to test my settings, thunderbird freezes. if you need some logs, please tell me how to do so.

I tried all beta version, same problem. Back on v3.9
