3.9.0 can't accept meeting invites

I'm running TB 45.6.0 with lightning 4.7.6 on OpenSuse leap 42.2. After updating my Exchange EWS Provider to 3.9.0 I could no longer accept calendar invites. The invite would show up in my inbox. I would click on accept and I would get the dialog to edit the response or send it now. After making a choice here the invite would never get accepted, no email would get send to the event creator, and if I clicked back on the invite I would have the accept option option available again.

In my case I am accessing an account in Office 365.

I downgraded back to 3.8.0 and everything worked again as it should. I also tried the 3.9 betas and they had the same issues.
