Accents in event title replaced by "??"

When I create a new event, the default title is set to "Nouvel ??v??nement" instead of "Nouvel évènement". When I modify the title, if the new title contains an accent, it will be replaced by "??" as well.

Events created by Outlook and having accents in title appears correctly. Events created on Lightning but on a non-EWS calendar works fine too.

This problem appeared several weeks ago with EWS 3.4.0. I just upgraded to 3.8.0-beta3 and it still there.
