Can not modify My "Exchange"-Contacts (not local contacts)
Thunderbird: 38.5.1 Exchange EWS Provider 3.5.0 (from 2015-12-29)
I have a Addressbook named: "Exchange contacts" Have contacts that created with MS Outlook in the past. If i open this Contacts i can not modify them.
Searching in the global addessbook works.
I i try to create by Menu
File -> new -> contact i can not select "Exchange contacts" Set type: contactfolder
I Would appreciate if anybody wants to take this enhancement task.
Requirement(s): The user has to add new contacts to server,
+1 I can only autocomplete and search for contacts, not add/edit or just list them.
Thomas this will be a new feature for the plugin .

How would like to update contact? Prior to that minor bugs to be fixed . Can you help me there
@bavincen I expected it to work similar to the normal Thunderbird address book (viewing/adding/editing contacts - perhaps also sharing them with colleagues), or is this a misconception? Using it with Office365.
No there is no edit or add support for contacts.

Are you planning to add that? Or what is the purpose of the plugin here, "just" autocomplete and searching the address book? How would you normally add or edit contacts then? Thanks in advance!
Ah will enable update feature in next release. I understand your requirements but mainly support should be provided for task and calendar.

Would be great to be able to add/edit/delete contacts from the Exchange address book within the Thunderbird Address Book. +1 this request. Especially would be great to be able to search for an Exchange contact and drag into the Exchange address book.
