Will this work on a device other than the server host?

I am using a debian device to host my homebridge and this work fine on that device but when i try from my ipad or phone it will be loading forver is there a way to fix this or something that causes this? thanks.

It should work, but I am working on some widespread fixes in a new release. Do you know if there is any sort of firewall setup on your server? If it works locally that means it is indeed launching, but it is strange to not be working on other devices. To be clear, they were also on the same wifi network and using either the client's IP or the router DNS server to resolve the hostname, correct?

Also, my apologies for the late response, I have been overwhelmed with school and work! Version 3 should be released very soon!
