line width is equal to the width of UITextfield, i dont think reducing the width of line less then the textfield width will look great , or may be you need some thing else if you can show some example then will be helpful.

please make sure you are using latest pod version i.e 1.1 and using xcode 2.1 or later?

please use 1.1 which is the latest version you will need to update the pod or you can download the sample and can use manual what is your xcode version?
