Streets with national hero status
Can you please add a flag called "achievement" jin metadata.json ust before gender because there some streets are named after heroes or after people with an outstanding achievement regardless of gender.
That's a good idea indeed but is there such "flag" available in Wikidata ?
No but local volunteers can enter that information here. Automating this will be difficult because some street names have grammatical suffixes or prefixes. Example Bulevard Bila Klintona in Serbian for a street in Kosova, and Bulevardi i Bill Klintonit in Albanian for the same street. They both refer to Bill Clinton.
It is best local activists to do this by hand.
it would be great if we could also let users choose between aggregations, the default one could be gender-identity based, the other - occupation-based, for example, based on the Wikidata P106 ("occupation") property, also P27 (country of citizenship) could be very interesting...
I understand it's a lot of effort, but it would be much more viral, I suppose, and thus help spread awareness not only of the gender equality issues, which is highly important, but also of the awesome open source infrastructure that is right in front of our eyes, in OpenStreetMap and WikiData. And it would just be fun to explore :)
PS: sorry for interrupting @agron2017 🙏
