Validation Cases

With reference to #18 I can offer several validation cases of machines simulated and optimised in other tools, an built as prototypes and tested to various degrees. As a first step I have some models simulating, but currently have a medium large discrepancy between the results from Pyleecan and reality, with a few issues that I know are wrong to varying degrees. ie. Current slot shapes are not exact replicas of the geometry, and a while ago at least, I was missing material definitions for M230-35 steel, and various magnets. These might be there now.

If you could share your data (i.e. machines, simulation and measurement results, ...) that would be really great. Regarding the discrepancy there are several source of error that could be the reason. As soon as you provide you data I can have a look at it if you like.
