New class: photosynthetic photon flux density
Please add a class photosynthetic photon flux density
has exact synonym PPFD
definition Number of photons in the 400-700 nm range received by a surface for a specified amount of time
;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photosynthetically_active_radiation
I don't know under which class to add it. It is not really a density as defined by PATO.
@celineaubert pls confirm Root term photosynthetically active radiation was previously added.
UO has the exact unit as: microeinstein per square meter per second (Note that micromols == microeinstein) where synonym can be added and envo term can make it into a subclass?
This term is different from photosynthetically active radiation. PPFD is a measure of photosynthetically active radiation.
- PPFD could be added as a subclass of http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/PATO_0001291 . It does not seems entirely correct, but this is the best class I have found.
- definition, synonym, def source are still correct
- term can be linked to the UO unit term - but should not created as a subclass of UO.
the term - ''photosynthetic photon flux'' could also be added as it is important in crop experiments: -subclass of: http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/PATO_0001291 . It does not seems entirely correct, but this is the best class I have found.
- Exact syn: PPF
- def ''total number of photons in the 400-700 nm range released from a light source''

terms have been created: http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/ENVO_06105204 and http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/ENVO_06105213>
