Although ENVO currently has advective, we might need some more foundational process classes within the environmental system process hierarchy. For example we'll need a convective class to bolster the axiomatization of classes like hail stone and lake-effect snowfall.
@kaiiam the 'convective' quality/characteristic is now available, along with a process class that's driven by an equivalence axiom.
@kaiiam 'm not sure if you consider this complete or if you want axiomatisation for the cryo terms too.
I think it could go either way. If you can think of appropriate axioms with convective for hail stone and lake-effect snowfall go for it. Perhaps just simply 'has characteristic' some convective following the example of mass fluid flow's axiom with advective?
Perhaps. Which process or sub-process is convective has to be verified. We'll leave this open until we have a first approximation.
