hi @snehmehta assigning to you as we discussed, without it, the global functions won't be able to do much. Also it has been a need for a long time.

Current capability i.e. defining APIs within screens should continue as is. This is additional - just like widgets, scripts, devs should be able to define APIs separately and reference them anywhere in their app.
