[contextual-cursor] Custom cursor resets to windows default

Open xCALYPTOx opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

This issue is for the external plugin: contextual-cursor Plugin version: 1.3.1

Description

When using contextual-cursor in combination with the Runelite "Custom Cursor" plugin, mousing over any item/entity/object that causes a contextual cursor to appear, and then moving the mouse off of that item/entity/object, causes the cursor to reset to the system default cursor instead of the custom cursor chosen in Runelite. I just noticed this behavior for the first time a week (or maybe two) ago.

Steps to replicate

  1. Install contextual cursor in Runelite if it is not already installed.
  2. Disable both contextual cursor and custom cursor plugins.
  3. Enable both contextual cursor and custom cursor plugins. The cursor should now display as the selected choice from the custom cursor plugin.
  4. Move the mouse over any inventory item, NPC, or game object. The cursor should now display with the context icon.
  5. Move the mouse off of the item, NPC, or game object onto any empty tile, UI space, etc. The cursor should now be the system default.

Environment

Windows 11 (10.0.22621 Build 22621) AMD Ryzen 5950x RTX 4090

Just add the Golden Cursor to the Contextual Cursor source code and make changes to the code that makes the reset or default cursor be the Golden Cursor
